destination preschool

Andrew's first day of Preschool 4 has finally arrived. The two week wait - the difference between Morgan's start date and his - has been hard for him. He has wanted a destination every day, so we've kept our mornings busy, running errands, going somewhere for Andrew. I kid you not, the words, "I want to go to Target" came pouring out of his mouth last week. And without hesitation, we went.

So it's here. The first day of preschool for the year. Andrew was pumped this morning, ready 30 minutes before we needed to leave, refusing a porch picture and insisting that he sit and wait in the van. Fine.

Much to my delight, he agreed to pictures at the sign.

And at the door to his classroom.

And then he ran inside without so much as a hug goodbye. He was back in action and ready for it. Scott and I chatted with our friends in the hallway for a bit, and then looked in on Andrew. Yes, he was having the time of his life. With a swim mask on his head, he dug in the sand, ran around the room, chatted it up with other kids, and was ready for the next adventure.
