Thursdays have turned out to be great days at our house... Thursday is the second best weekday (next to Friday). Thursday night is also when NBC broadcasts The Office. And best of all, Thursday starts a new week in our pregnancy.
To mark the occasion, Scott and I have decided to take progress pictures. Kind of a photographic journal of just how I'm coming along. This little vignette was our inspiration: click here. We started a bit too late, but that's okay - you'll get the idea over time. And oh... you probably won't be seeing my bare belly after this post, either. It never dawned on me that these photos might make the blog the first couple times we took them, and I'm definitely more comfortable baring belly around only a close handful.
Hence, I give you three weeks progression...

And sans skin... I think I look much more pregnant.
yay for thursday!

and baby makes three
Most of you have heard that we're expecting this spring, and we couldn't be more thrilled! Actually, it's a feeling that can't really be described. Scott and I are both extremely excited, and yet it's also unchartered territory, so there's a bit of anxiousness in the learning curve. However, even in the midst of hearing all the advice and first-hand experience from others around us, as well as reading every book in the library, there's nothing quite like going through the process of becoming parents with anyone else but your spouse.
For the first several weeks it was great knowing we had a special secret just between the two of us. And even now, the thoughts and ideas we share about this baby are just that... all our own. It not only makes our relationship stronger, but lets us look forward so much more to this gift we've been given.
So in the meantime, here's some answers to the most frequently asked questions (just in case you were wondering).
1. No, we don't have names picked out.
2. We're still not certain we'll learn the gender of the baby.
3. Yes, we both intend to keep working.
4. I feel great!
